Healing and Living Waters Ministry Church History

On November 4, 2006 Rev. Dr L D Frye and a small group of Christians came together at the above address and agreed to start a new ministry on November 5 , 2006 with him as founder and pastor. The name of the new ministry would be Healing and Living Waters. It was voted and agreed upon that Worship Service would be at the Armstrong High School in the auditorium located at 2300 Cool Lane, Richmond, Virginia beginning at 11:00 am on November 5, 2006

Rev. Frye read the by-laws for the ministry and a motion was made by Mrs. Mary Louise Johnson and seconded by Ms. Luvenia Washington and the bylaws were approved .The founding member were Mary Louise Johnson, Luvenia Washington, Elnora Williams, Helen Williams and Minister Dabrah Yarbrough.

Rev. Frye presented two checks as seed money from Mr. William Washington for $100.00 and a check from Mr.Ronnie and Wanda West for $300.00. It was agreed that this seed money would be used to begin a Radio Broadcast and an ad in the Richmond Free Press. The meeting was adjourned with a prayer by Rev. Frye.
